We have an exciting freelance design opportunity within our inspirational Accessorize Design team working on our embellished bag range. We are looking for a unique and commercial designer to deliver fresh, fun ideas to the existing range. You will be able to identify, create and deliver exciting, new and commercial trends with the Accessorize ‘handwriting’ in mind. If you are an experienced, creative and innovative designer from an embellishment/ textile background looking for a freelance opportunity, then we would like to hear from you!
This role will see you researching, analysing and presenting trends for embellished bags. You will be producing detailed design briefs possibly with embroidery swatches to accompany them. Your designs will drive the brand forward by challenging and focusing on newness and commerciality. You will be working closely with our bag Design and Buying team.
You will have fabulous freehand drawing skills and the ability to communicate your designs effectively using Photoshop or Illustrator. We’re looking for someone who has a strong passion to work for Accessorize with the ability to design product with a unique point of difference from our global high street competitors. With excellent presentation and communication skills, you will also be confident in presenting at a senior level. Previous experience of working with suppliers in India is desirable.Please ensure that you upload relevant portfolio images along with your cv that are relevant to the Accessorize brand which reflect your ability to design for the Accessorize brand with a fantastic design handwriting identifying your skill for product knowledge, colour, materials, spec drawings and briefs.
